OFFICIAL RULES & REGULATIONS
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: HOW TO ENTER: Sweepstakes begins November 13, 2009 and ends December 21, 2009. To enter, visit our web site at http://contest.dinglife.com/SOTY and follow the on-screen instructions. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM, Eastern Time, on December 21, 2009. Limited to one entry per person. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by and acknowledge compliance with these official rules including eligibility requirements. Responsibility for receipt of entry rests solely with the entrant. All entries become the property of the sponsors, DiNG Store, Inc., Rockstar Energy Drink and Epitaph Records. Sponsors will not be responsible for late, lost, or misdirected entries or any error, omission, interruption, dilution, defect or delay in operation or transmission on the Internet or any damage to a user’s computer. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned for any reason which sponsors, in their sole opinion, deem could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, sponsors reserve the right to terminate, modify or suspend this sweepstakes, in whole or in part. Sponsors will not acknowledge receipt of entries.
2. ELIGIBILITY: The sweepstakes is open to persons who are 13 years or older at time of entry and are a legal resident of the continental United States. Employees (and their immediate families) of sponsors or any of sponsors’ affiliates, subsidiaries, participating vendors, promotion or advertising agencies, or any other company involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of the sweepstakes are ineligible to enter the sweepstakes. This offer is void where prohibited and subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
3. PRIZE DRAWING: One (1) Winner will be chosen from each touring city to watch the band STORY OF THE YEAR perform from the stage winner will be selected by the sponsor in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received on or about at least 24 hours before each tour stop in each market. (See end of rules and regulations for a list of STORY OF THE YEAR tourdates). One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected by the sponsor in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received on or about December 28, 2009. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. All decisions of the sponsors are final and binding on all matters relating to this sweepstakes.
4. PRIZES: One (1) winner in each touring city will be chosen to watch STORY OF THE YEAR from the stage and meet the band from each tour stop nationally from each market. One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. Grand Prize winner will receive: one (1) STORY OF THE YEAR DiNG for each of their devices including a maximum of one (1) cellular phone, one (1) MP3 player, one (1) laptop and one (1) gaming system combined. Grand prize winner will also receive a Rockstar Energy Drink snowboard, a one (1) year supply of Rockstar Energy Drink and a twenty (20) dollar gift certificate to the Epitaph Records online store. Approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $500.00. Twenty (20) First Place Runner Up winners will receive one pair of General Admission tickets to MUSINK (1) fifty dollar ($50) gift certificate redeemable at WWW.DINGLIFE.COM . Twenty (20) second place Runner Up winners will receive one (1) five dollar (5) gift certificate redeemable at WWW.DINGLIFE.COM. Sponsor reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prize cannot be assigned, transferred, changed, or redeemed for cash except at the sole discretion of the sponsors. All federal, state, and local taxes, and all other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are the sole responsibility of the winners. Other restrictions may apply.
5. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Prize winners will be notified by e-mail and/or phone on or about December 28, 2009. By accepting any prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name, voice, and likeness for promotional, advertising, publicity or trade purposes in any and all media worldwide in perpetuity by sponsors without further compensation unless otherwise prohibited by law. Void where prohibited by law.
6. CONDITIONS: By participating in this sweepstakes, entrants and winners undertake to indemnify and hold harmless the sponsors, including but not limited to DiNG Store, Inc., Rockstar Energy Drink and Epitaph Records, their owners (direct or indirect), parents, members, stockholders, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, agents, employees, advertising agencies, and all others associated with the development and execution of this sweepstakes from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use of any prize, including, without limitation, liability for personal injury, damages or loss."
7.
